Of cast and wrought iron having a beveled fire box and classical circular ash tray all standing on wrought penny feet.

Restoration of knob and draft door.

Probably Canterbury Bishopric
Circa 1830

Provenance:  Acquired from the Shakers at Canterbury, New Hampshire by pioneer collector Erhart Muller in the 1940/50s.
