A fine, mid-nineteenth-century example of a New Lebanon Oval Storage Box retaining a desirable surface of original opaque green paint. With two, perfectly proportioned and aligned lappers on the base and one on the lid, the Box is of classic construction fixed with copper rivets and brads. In an excellent state of preservation.
