In an excellent state of preservation, this vibrant, red-painted Storage Box is comprised of a single board, dovetailed case and lift-lid with original lock. Iron handles with heart-shaped bail plates are on either end. In the interior, a strip of handstitched gingham fabric connecting the lid to the body of the Box is surmised to be the original lid support stay.
