Created for the Shaker community, this unique Sisters’ Rocking Chair is an example of adaptive reuse. The rear posts of the Rocker were made for a tilting chair—the Shakers filled in the recessions and scalloped the ends of the posts down to accommodate fine rocker blades. In an old, yellow wash surface.
