A classic example of a New Lebanon Worktable with three, flush-front, fully dovetailed drawers. The work surface was created from a single cherry board—visible sapwood flanks the interior heartwood. The skirt, which is mortised and pegged into square tapered legs, is cherry as well. Interestingly, the legs and central drawer runner have been inletted into the underside of the tabletop.
In an excellent state of preservation retaining an original stain and varnish surface apart from the drawer fronts, which have been cleaned.
