A fine example of a New Lebanon Bishopric Oval Storage Box retaining its original cranberry red thinly painted surface. With two, perfectly proportioned lappers on the base and one on the lid fixed with copper rivets and brads, the Box is of classic construction and in an excellent state of preservation.
