The cherry top of this exceptionally-crafted Light Stand was face-turned on a lathe to create a molded rim. Underneath is an oblong cleat, which is threaded into the turned standard. The Stand is supported by three, vertically dovetailed, serpentine legs reinforced by an iron spider.
In an original red paint and varnish surface with heavy craquelure.
