A sweet albeit unsophisticated Oval Storage Box of unknown origin in an old or original brown painted surface. At just over three inches in diameter, this diminutive box with two sharply tapered lappers on the base and a single lapper on the lid can round out the top of a painted box stack. In a fine state of preservation with one copper rivet missing from the base of the Box under the lid.
While this Oval Storage Box bears many of the defining attributes of a Shaker oval box, it can not be positively authenticated as such.
